Let us spoil you – with our breakfast buffet, our dinner specials in the hotel restaurant which we use on Day 1 & Day 6 or with our panorama sun terrace when the weather is fine.The Golden Hirsch is only a short transfer to the ski area we use in our area and the Gunzesried/ofterschwang Ski area in the heart of the Allgäu with the cleanest air in the Alps & which we will use on Day 1 of all Alpine Ski and Ski touring packages. Everyone feels at home here thanks to the unique charm of the Allgäu and the friendly staff of the Hotel.

Offering breath-taking views and a rustic restaurant where you will experience the region’s fine cuisine. All dishes are made almost exclusively with fresh, local, seasonal produce. We know some customers have unique dietary requirements and our team are happy to accommodate your individual menu or buffet preferences.

Our dinner specials in the hotel restaurant which we use on Day 1 & Day 6 will be a set menu and Days 2-5 we will eat out in local restaurants.

Travel Info

The nearest international airports are in Munich ( 2 hour transfer) Friedrichshafen (1 hour transfer) and Memmingen (40 mins transfer) to the lodges respectively . Munich International Airport is served by many of the major international carriers, with Friedrichshafen served by Easy Jet from Gatwick and Memmingen served by Ryan Air from Stanstead.

Our professional driver will only meet you at Memmingen airport and will ensure you get to your chosen Hotel/Lodge as quickly as possible and with the minimum amount of fuss.
However if you would like the option of driving yourself all airports offer great hire car facilities.

“We went for a week in January the quality of the lodge, the food and the hosts were outstanding and made the holiday. I would recommend going at this time of year as well as the slopes were so empty and it is cheaper. Just wrap up warm. The lodge is impeccable inside and out, with a cosy living area, plenty of space in the dining area and it was nice that everyone ate together.”
