Overview
In the middle of the nature park Nagelfluhkette at an altitude of 934m in the Gunzesreid Valley, our stylish and spacious rustic Bavarian Lodge, set in the foothills of the mountains presents an idyllic retreat. Enjoy the peace and tranquility the mountains have to offer and relax and unwind in the lodges beautiful surroundings. Situated in the Gunzesried valley, the Hubethof provides a unique opportunitity to experience traditional Bavarian hospitality.
From the lodge you will ski on the Gunzesreid / Ofterswchang ski area approx. 1.5 km away or if joining us on the ski safari slightly wider a field.
Bedrooms
A traditional lodge with a combination of multi bed rooms, double rooms, single rooms, family rooms and a mix of ensuite rooms as well as larger apartment styled room.
Food and Drink
You’ll find Bavarian hospitality at its warmest in our restaurant, where you can enjoy German specialties in an ambience of pure Gemütlichkeit (friendlyness). German dishes that are hearty but never heavy, will replenish your strength after an active day on the ski slopes. Food choices such as Sauerbraten, Wienerschnitzel, or Käsespätzle, as well as salad and lighter options. We know some customers have unique dietary requirements and our team are happy to accommodate your individual menu or buffet preferences.
Travel Info
The nearest international airports are in Munich ( 2 hour transfer) Friedrichshafen (1 hour transfer) and Memmingen (40 mins transfer) to the lodges respectively . Munich International Airport is served by many of the major international carriers, with Friedrichshafen served by Easy Jet from Gatwick and Memmingen served by Ryan Air from Stanstead.
Our professional driver will only meet you at Memmingen airport and ensure you get to your chosen lodge as quickly as possible and with the minimum amount of fuss. However if you would like the option of driving yourself all airports offer great hire car facilities.
