Our Alpine Yoga Retreat is ideal for those of you whom have experience or are at a novice state in your Yoga or any of our outdoor activities. We will guide you through the stages to enable you to increase in confidence whilst climbing and open your mind, body and soul within your Yoga experience

Alpine Yoga Retreat


We are proposing to run Alpine Yoga Retreats with a difference and in a very relaxed environment. The difference being we are offering summer and winter activities alongside professional Yoga sessions each day:


A minimum of 6 people is required to confirm that the retreat will be delivered and a non-refundable deposit paid through of £225 for the 3-day/4 nights retreat. The payment system is World pay and secure through our website, clients will receive an invoices and extra information automatically once deposit is received for the Alpine yoga Retreat.

Summer Activities

Rock Climbing – You will be given tuition in how to use all the rock climbing equipment and be shown climbing out doors on a single pitch venue (max 25m of height) an abseil will be set for those adventure warriors wishing to have a go at the end of the session.

Klettersteiging – designed during Second World War by Alpine troops to enable valley dwellers to get to high mountain pastures to avoid being captured. It enabling many people with little experience in rock climbing/mountaineering to negotiate the terrain that faced them. You will be given tuition on how to use the equipment and taken on a grade 3 Klettersteig. Klettersteiging is a fixed wire within the rock enabling quick passage over technical ground whilst experiencing rock-climbing moves – ration max 4 people.

Mountain walking (flower spotting and learning about the environment). Learn about the medicinal purposes of flowers in the Alps, how to tell the altitude, season when different flowers are present. Learn about simple survival techniques if caught out in any terrain.

Mountain Biking – You will be instructed on how to ride the mountain bike correctly, hand signals whilst on roads etc. The mountain bike route will take in the stunning views that the Bavarian Alps have to offer. Tailored for the group’s fitness – Surcharge £20 mountain bike hire.

From the airport:

Your friendly NBF Alpine Adventures Ltd driver will meet you at Memmingen airport or Munich only and will drive you to your chosen lodge while you sit back and relax. However for those that prefer to make their own way:

Stuttgart or Fredrickshafen are a two hour drive to reach us and are also served by regular train services to Fussen where we can organise a pick up by prior arrangement.

Memmingen is an hours drive and is also served by rail links to Fussen where we can organise a pick up.

Most major car hire companies are located at the airports. NB: you will need to request Winter Tyres from Nov – Apr


Driving from the UK is also possible. We advise you take the ferry from Dover to Calais or Eurotunnel. On average the journey takes 10 hours from Calais. With a stopover halfway in either France or Gemany this can be a great addition to your trip.


You can now catch the train from London to Stuttgart or Munich by Eurostar and high speed TGV. This journey takes 7 hours, plus a 2 hour stop in Paris. Please visit for details.

The Alpine Yoga Retreat will be delivered in Fussen , which is the most southerly town of Germany, located in the Oberallgäu region of the Bavarian Alps. It is ideally situated for exploring the mountains.
